The KG-UVD1P Radio is very good over here in the UK quite a lot of ham's are starting to BUY them because they are very cheap and good as well, the price for them is better than paying the price Yaesu, kenwood or icom charge, you get loads of features for the price you pay, even the BIG ham Shops over here have started to sell them now because prices for the main radio dealers have gone up.
You can also buy them cheap on e-bay.
